2023 Indiana Environmental Conference & Winter Technical Meeting

December 6-7 at the Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel

In collaboration with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Air and Waste Management Association Indiana Chapter, Greater Indiana is excited to present the 2023 Indiana Environmental Conference and Winter Technical Meeting. The conference will take place December 6-7 at the Wyndham Indianapolis West Hotel, and the Indiana Chamber will release additional details on the agenda over the next few weeks. You will gain insights into the latest breakthroughs and advancements in alternative fuel technologies through engaging panel discussions and expert presentations.

This two-day event will start on December 6th with an alternative fuel panel covering many sustainable transportation fuel options. We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Tim Frazier, Vice President of Global Research and Technology at Cummins Inc., will be our alternative fuel keynote speaker! Dr. Frazier is at the forefront of Cummins’ efforts in advancing next-generation technology for a clean and zero-carbon future. His extensive expertise, particularly in ultra-low emissions technology, promises to provide valuable perspectives on the future of sustainable transportation. Join us for a captivating discussion led by Dr. Frazier, to discover how biofuels, electric vehicles, hydrogen, and other innovative solutions drive us toward a cleaner transportation future.

Indianapolis EV Showcase

October 7, 2023 12pm-5pm at The AMP at 16 Tech 1220 Waterway Blvd Indianapolis, IN 46202

Knozone and the Office of Sustainability are hosting an electric vehicle showcase at 16 Tech Innovation District to spotlight Indy’s growing EV market. Join us in the parking lot across from The AMP. EVs for EVV – Evansville Ride and Drive

Join us at Eykamp Scout Center from 10 am –2 pm CT for the 2nd annual EVs for EVV event, featuring a variety of electric vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles, along with vendors, entertainment, and the opportunity for ride-alongs and test drives. Carmel EV Ride and Drive

September 30, 2023 at Indiana Design Center

The City of Carmel in partnership with the Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Hoosier Electric Vehicle Association, Carmel Green Initiative, and Knozone is excited to announce that as part of the National Drive Electric Week we will be hosting an EV Ride and Drive on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Indiana Design Center.  Attendees will be able to test drive various electric-powered vehicles from cars to e-bikes and even e-motorcycles. There will be plenty of EV owners displaying their vehicles and will be available for attendees to ask questions about ownership, costs, and how to charge an EV. Additionally, there will be other organizations with information related to electric vehicles, solar panels and heat pumps as well as live music.

Johnson County REMC EV Day

JCREMC will host EV Day on September 9, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 750 International Dr., Franklin. Structured similar to a car show, EV Day is a free opportunity for the community to see various EV models and ask questions of JCREMC’s EV Team members.

Hosted by the City of Fort Wayne, Open Streets turn streets into meeting places, places to socialize, and places to play. The event is free to attend. AAA Day at the Indiana State Fair

Green Drives Conference and Expo

Illinois Alliance for Clean Transportation will host the annual Green Drives Conference & Expo on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Northern Illinois University’s Conference Center in Naperville, Illinois.

Green Drives – one of the largest clean-transportation conferences held in the Midwest – is an annual must-attend event for government officials, commercial and municipal fleet managers, corporate sustainability officers, and clean-tech and clean-energy professionals who want to learn how to use cleaner, lower emissions fuels and technologies, while saving money.

Advanced vehicle technologies, electric vehicles, and alternative fuels are showcased, including dozens of green vehicles and exhibitors. Attendees not only get a chance to network with experts from throughout the nation and the region, but they learn of first-hand experiences from fleets currently using alternative fuels and electric vehicles. Attendees also get the chance to test drive vehicles of all different sizes.

SAFE Summit

2023 Student Soybean Innovation Competition Awards Ceremony
