“This Tool Library contains tools, reports, and webinars to help applicants and advocates identify, apply for, and deploy federal funding. Topics covered include finding regions in need of charging infrastructure, ensuring that projects are equitable, calculating the total cost of ownership of vehicles, and more.” The Electrification Coalition offers various resources and tools to assist public and private entities in understanding federal funding sources for electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. Some of these resources include the EV Funding Finder, Local Government Playbook, AchiEVe Model Policy Toolkit, and the Dashboard for Rapid Vehicle Electrification (DRVE) Tool. Federal Government Resources mentioned are the Geospatial Energy Mapping (GEM) Tool, AFLEET GHG Estimator, DOT’s Transportation Disadvantaged Census Tracts, EV Charging Justice40 Mapping, and EVI-Pro Lite from the Alternative Fuels Data Center. These tools aid in analyzing alternative fuel vehicle impacts, identifying disadvantaged communities, mapping charging infrastructure needs and projecting future demand for EV charging.
