The Greater Indiana team is excited to attend the inaugural Illinois Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Conference. This two-day event, organized by key stakeholders, discusses the use of SAF in the U.S. and explores unique opportunities for Illinois and the Midwest region. The conference covers various topics, including SAF demand and logistics, federal and state incentives, carbon scoring, export opportunities, and more. With a goal to build a SAF ecosystem in the state, the event brings together industry experts, agencies, and public officials for networking and learning sessions. Notably, Illinois has recently passed a pioneering tax incentive for SAF, and the conference aims to highlight the state’s assets and resources for attracting jobs investments, and advancing the SAF industry.
