INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Kinetrex Energy announced the hiring of Rob Scheuermann as its chief financial officer. Scheuermann comes to Kinetrex having served as president and previously chief financial officer of SoCore Energy, a leading national solar and energy storage provider for retailers, cooperatives, utilities and industrial companies.
“I’m extremely excited to welcome Rob to the Kinetrex family,” said Aaron Johnson, president and CEO of Kinetrex Energy. “Kinetrex is experiencing tremendous growth and, in turn, a necessity for corresponding investment given the capital intensity of the liquid and renewable natural gas industry. I am certain Rob’s extensive capital-raising expertise in the alternative energy markets, as well as his long history of successful leadership, will be immediately impactful to the company.”
At SoCore Energy, Scheuermann led the financial transition of the company from a start up to a Fortune 500 company, positioning it for its 2018 sale to Engie North America, one of the largest energy companies in the world. He was responsible for development of the company’s growth strategy, raising project- and company-level capital and leading the company’s investment committee. As CFO, he oversaw the acquisition of a smaller solar company and numerous capital-raising projects and agreements.
Scheuermann is a CPA and a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Scheuermann will serve as the fifth member of Kinetrex’s leadership team.
