We are pleased to announce the recent hiring of Kaylee May to the position of Events and Communications Coordinator. Kaylee earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego. Kaylee comes to us from Terra Science and Education where she launched two internationally affiliated Regional Science and Engineering Fairs, establishing Terra as a leading resource for educators and students in New York State. She also oversaw the GENIUS Olympiad International Environmental High School Project Competition, Terra Fairs, College Readiness, Scholarship and Capacity Building Grant Programs. For 5 years Kaylee served on the board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Central New York Chapter, organizing professional development programs for communication professionals.
Kaylee will be based in the southern part of our service territory in Bloomington, Indiana. If you happen to be in the area, send Kaylee an email – we know she would like to hear from you. Sean Chung is joining the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition as a Clean Cities Intern for the summer of 2020. Sean is a graduate student studying Energy Policy and will receive his Master of Public Affairs (MPA) and Master of Science in Environmental Science (MSES) degrees from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in December 2020.
Currently, Sean is a Research Assistant at the O’Neill school studying the transparency of university president search processes. He was also a Clean Cities Intern for Louisiana Clean Fuels in Baton Rouge, LA, working on projects related to electric vehicle infrastructure and idling reduction.
If you are a current member of Greater Indiana Clean Cities, chances are you will be hearing from Sean who is busy gathering all kinds of resources for our members. We are thankful to have him on our team this summer!
Abhishek Jagdale is joining the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition as an intern for the summer of 2020. Abhishek is a second-year graduate student studying sustainability and energy and will receive his Master of Science in Environmental Science (MSES) and Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degrees from Indiana University’s Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in December 2020.
Abhishek has previously worked as an Indiana University Sustainability Development Intern with the City of Michigan City, Indiana carrying out their Greenhouse Gas Inventory. Abhishek has a master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from University of Mumbai, India.
Abhishek is assisting us with lining up various educational events and outreach. We appreciate the positive impact he brings to Greater Indiana Clean Cities!
