City of New Haven Receives Grant from INDOT Through Community Crossings Grant Program

The team at Greater Indiana would like to welcome and congratulate our newest member on their recent grant award. The City of New Haven, Indiana, received $1,000,000 from the Indiana Department of Transportation’s Community Crossings Matching Grant Program! The Community Crossings grant program is part of Gov. Holcomb’s Next Level Roads initiative, which aims to invest in local streets and roads.

Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Indiana Department of Transportation officials visited northeast Indiana to award over $90 million in Community Crossings matching grants. At the Eagles Theatre in Wabash, he announced $91.5 million in grants under his Next Level Roads program to support local road projects. The Community Crossings initiative, funded by the state’s matching grant fund, has contributed nearly $1.5 billion in state matching funds since 2016, enabling large and small communities to enhance road connectivity and safety.
