Kinder Morgan Expands RNG & Landfill-to-Gas Portfolio with Mass CanAm, LLC Aquisition

On July 19, 2022, KMI closed its $355 million acquisition of three landfill assets from Mas CanAm, LLC, comprising an RNG facility in Arlington, Texas and Medium Btu facilities in Shreveport, Louisiana and Victoria, Texas. The Arlington facility is expected to produce 1.4 Bcf of RNG in 2023 and has the potential to grow significantly over the next decade. Kinetrex Energy, a Kinder Morgan Company, will operate the assets.
