This weekend, visit the Greater Indiana team and experience electric vehicles (EVs) at JCREMC EV Day in Franklin, IN! JCREMC is a cooperative electric utility that supplies electric service to more than 26,000 meters in Johnson County and portions of Morgan, Shelby, and Brown counties. As part of an initiative to empower consumers with information when making electric vehicle (EV) purchases, JCREMC is hosting its annual EV Day on September 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 750 International Dr. Franklin, IN.
This car show-style gathering allows attendees to experience test drives and ride-along in electric vehicles, closely examine various EV models, and discover JCREMC programs designed to enhance the affordability of EV ownership. Our team will be there to provide some additional information on Indiana’s EV infrastructure, current EV incentives and funding opportunities, available EV models, and more!
Local automotive dealerships are joining the event by showcasing popular EV models. Vehicles to be showcased at this event include the Chevy Bolt, Ford Lightning, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ionia 5 and 6, and more! This free event represents just one of the ways the local electric cooperative is aiding its members who are contemplating purchasing an electric vehicle.
