City of Indianapolis Issues Reimagining the Curb RFP

The City of Indianapolis has a unique opportunity to leverage connections to underground power located at 89 sites along curbs throughout our downtown and neighborhoods. These sites were the former locations of the BlueIndy electric vehicle carsharing service, which ended operations in May 2020.

The City has issued an RFP to reuse & leverage the underground electric infrastructure of the former EV parking sites across the county. This RFP seeks proposals to repurpose the below-ground electrical infrastructure of a former electric vehicle sharing service.
