Greater Indiana Clean Cities is partnering with the City of Fort Wayne and the Indiana Soybean Alliance to bring you a webinar discussing what goes into transition
The Indiana Soybean Alliance is a statewide organization that serves Indiana soybean farmers through checkoff, membership, and policy programs. One of the checkoff investments the Indiana Soybean Alliance supports is the biofuels industry. Helena Jette, Biofuels Director, will share information about their organization, benefits of biodiesel, and how they support biofuels in Indiana.
The City of Fort Wayne’s fleet has run largely on Biodiesel for many years. Larry Campbell, Director of Fleet Operations, helped the City of Fort Wayne transition its fleet and has extensive experience working with municipal fleets using alternative fuels. During the webinar he will discuss how to make the transition to biodiesel, best management practices, infrastructure requirements, fuel suppliers (quotes and contracts), and training requirements.
Greater Indiana is a Clean City Coalition focused on advancing communities with education and resources on alternative fuel vehicles. Their mission is to advance alternative, domestic fueled transportation including energy efficient technologies across all sectors in Indiana. Kerri Garvin, Executive Director, will discuss Greater Indiana Clean Cities and the work it does to help members integrating alternative fuels, technologies, and efficiency measures.
Join us July 22, 2020, 1:00pm to 2:15pm to learn how a municipal fleet transitioned to biodiesel, the infrastructure updates and requirements, and available programs to support fleets making the shift.
