Greater Indiana Clean Cities is partnering with Blue Bird, Lion Electric, and the Environmental Law and Policy Center to bring you a webinar discussing the latest electric bus technology and everything technicians and fleet managers need to know to transition and maintain electric school buses.
Blue Bird is recognized as an industry leader for school bus innovation, safety, product quality/reliability/durability, operating costs and drivability. In addition, Blue Bird is the market leader in alternative fuel applications with its propane-powered, electric-powered and compressed natural gas-powered school buses. Hinton Harrison, Engineering Supervisor, will be providing a technical presentation about electric school bus technology including the technology needs and training requirements for fleets.
Lion Electric is an innovative manufacturer of zero-emission vehicles, creating, designing, and manufacturing all-electric class 5 to class 8 commercial urban trucks and all electric buses and minibuses for the school, paratransit, and mass transit markets. During the webinar Lion Electric’s Director of Sales for school buses in Eastern USA, Richard Lee, will discuss the benefits of electric school buses and the various electric school bus technologies Lion Electric offers.
The Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC) is the Midwest’s leading public interest environmental legal advocacy and eco-business innovation organization. The ELPC develops and leads successful strategic advocacy campaigns to improve environmental quality and protect our natural resources. Susan Mudd, Senior Policy Advocate, will discuss the ELPC and the work it does to support the adoption of electric school buses in Indiana.
Greater Indiana is a Clean City Coalition focused on advancing communities with education and resources on alternative fuel vehicles. Their mission is to advance alternative, domestic fueled transportation including energy efficient technologies across all sectors in Indiana. Kerri Garvin, Executive Director, will discuss Greater Indiana Clean Cities and the work it does to support the adoption of alternative fuels and transportation.
