Franklin College in Johnson County has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Ball Venture Fund to advance sustainable energy education through electric vehicles. This initiative will involve purchasing electric go-karts to be used in physics coursework during a January course.
The program, titled “Sustainable Energy Education through Electric Vehicles,” will feature a series of educational activities for middle and high school students and training sessions for STEM teachers across Indiana.
