Electrify America Accepting Submissions for its Cycle 3 Investment Plan

Electrify America has begun to plan for Cycle 3 of its National Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Investment Plan. The goal of the Cycle 3 Investment Plan will be to identify investment opportunities and expand the company’s charging network during the 30-month investment period between January 2022 and June 2024.

As of June 2020, Electrify America has installed over 400 DC Fast Charging Stations and more than 1,800 chargers across the United States, with five charging stations located in Indiana.

Currently, Electrify America is implementing its Cycle 2 National ZEV Investment Plan, which will add 800 DC Fast Charging Stations and 3,500 chargers to its network by the end of 2021.

In the run up to its Cycle 3 National ZEV Investment Plan, Electrify America is conducting a National Outreach Plan to solicit suggestions, comments, and feedback to inform its decision-making process. Electrify America is inviting state and local government agencies, stakeholders within the Electric Vehicle industry, and members of the public to submit information.

Stakeholders have the opportunity to promote EV infrastructure development in Indiana. Local and State Government agencies can help by proposing specific site locations or submitting information related to ZEV infrastructure plans and ZEV policies within their communities. Electrify America also welcomes invitations to community events related to ZEV infrastructure planning.

The deadline to submit is August 14th, 2020.
