Nine Indiana schools have been awarded a total of $11,175,000 through the
Clean School Bus Rebate Program, funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This funding will support the purchase of 49 new buses, including 48 electric and 1 propane-powered bus. The Clean School Bus Program, administered by the EPA, provides $5 billion over five years to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and clean alternatives. The next round of rebate funding under the program is expected to open in fall, 2024.

Crawfordsville Community Schools – 2 electric school buses
Goshen Community Schools – 6 electric school buses
Greater Clark County Schools – 1 propane bus
Monroe County Community School Corporation – 25 electric school buses
MSD Central Parke Community School Corporation – 1 electric school bus
Perry Central Community School Corporation – 2 electric school buses
Steel City Academy – 7 electric school buses
White River Valley School District – 3 electric school buses
