Chargepoint recently introduced its Megawatt Charging System, which consists of a new electric cable and connector. The system will be available on ChargePoint’s Power Link 2000 stations as well as part of the modular Express Plus DC fast charging platform.
The system is said to support bidirectional charging and will soon be able to output up to three megawatts, which is estimated to be enough energy to power about 1,000 homes. This technology marks another step forward in the electrification of the commercial trucking industry.
