Greater Indiana is proud to be part of the project team for the Charge@Work program. “Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Charge@Work is a nationwide workplace charging program designed to bring EV charging to the American workforce. Forth has also developed the Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership (EVAL) certification program for workplaces to receive recognition for their efforts and accomplishments in providing charging and clean transportation options.” There will be a webinar on November 14th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET to discuss opportunities and programs promoting workplace charging solutions.
The Charge@Work program provides additional resources on setting up a workplace charging program by connecting with federal and local incentive programs, creating a site plan, identifying which technologies work best for you, gauging worker interest in EVs, creating a plug share plan for workers, and connecting with local installers.
EVAL (Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership) is a nationally recognized certification program that provides technical assistance and recognition for organizations supporting clean transportation adoption. EVAL certification indicates the availability of clean transportation options and opportunities for staff at a workplace.
