The Battery Innovation Center (BIC) at WestGate at Crane Technology Park has appointed Les Alexander as its President & CEO. With over 25 years of executive leadership experience in commercial and national security sectors, Alexander brings extensive expertise. Formerly Vice President of Government and Defense R&D at Navitas Systems, he’s also a former officer in the U.S. Navy. BIC, a public-private partnership, focuses on energy storage systems testing and evaluation. The leadership change aligns with BIC’s expansion to meet the growing industry demand for battery fabrication, engineering, testing, and education services.
