Kerri Garvin is the Executive Director of Greater Indiana Clean Cities, a standalone nonprofit serving public and private sector members in Indiana. Greater Indiana advances alternative, domestic fueled transportation including energy efficient technologies across all sectors in Indiana.

Kerri most recently served as the Program Coordinator for Electric Transportation at Indiana Michigan Power (AEP) developing materials and plans for programs on electric vehicles. The position coordinated outreach and education for both internal and external customers.

During her time with the City of Fort Wayne, she served as a Program Manager for energy and sustainability and the Executive Director for the Northeast Indiana Sustainable Business Council (NISBC). Trained by the Envision sustainable infrastructure rating system, Kerri integrated the concepts into City Utility projects to help meet their sustainability and energy efficiency goals. As the Executive Director for the NISBC, she provided training, certification, and assistance to area businesses using their Bright Green Business program.

While serving in the Public Information Office of Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry’s administration she successfully led the City’s efforts to be recognized for the third time as a National Civic League “All-America City”. In addition, she spearheaded the creation of the Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council, an all-teen volunteer council dedicated to service-learning, leadership and engagement in Fort Wayne. Garvin also served a mayoral appointment to the City of Fort Wayne’s Sister Cities International program, facilitating economic development opportunities and cultural exchanges between Fort Wayne, Indiana and nation cities worldwide.

Kerri holds a Master’s in Public Affairs with a concentration on Public Management and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Fort Wayne.


Kaylee May | Events & Communications Coordinator

Kaylee serves as the Events and Communications Coordinator of Greater Indiana. In this role she plans and hosts in person and virtual events, coordinates the monthly newsletter and plans and executes the organization’s communications strategy. Kaylee is also responsible for the organization’s membership program, managing member relationships and the execution of member benefits.

Prior to joining the Greater Indiana team, Kaylee served as the Marketing and Operations Director at Terra Science and Education, an educational nonprofit in Central New York. In her role with Terra, Kaylee organized and marketed regional and international events, managed scholarship and grant programs, and operated as the office administrator. Kaylee also served on the board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Central New York Chapter, organizing professional development programs for communication professionals.

Kaylee is a graduate of The State University of New York at Oswego and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.


George Clark | Grants & Special Projects Coordinator

George joined the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition in early 2021. In his role at Greater Indiana, George leads the Drive Electric Indiana program, a statewide initiative that highlights Electric Vehicle technology, charging infrastructure, and funding opportunities to help municipalities, businesses, and individuals make the transition to electrified powertrains.

His addition to the team followed shortly after serving four years as a marketing and events coordinator at Tesla, and a Solar Energy Consultant with Blue Raven Solar in the Indianapolis area. While at Tesla, George oversaw the development of three Electric Vehicle sales and delivery programs in Indiana, as well as establishing regular public facing EV education events in the Great Lakes region. His efforts also influenced the increase of charging infrastructure for destination charging partners and Indiana businesses. In addition to EVs, George helped deploy Federal Tax Credit and solar finance education, and rooftop residential solar programs with Blue Raven Solar.

George is a graduate of Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, with a focus on sustainability in the entertainment industry.
