Kaylee Dann is the Executive Director of Greater Indiana Clean Cities Inc., a standalone nonprofit advancing communities with education and resources on alternative fuel vehicles across the state of Indiana. Kaylee is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events and conferences, sharing information about Greater Indiana, alternative fuels and transportation, funding opportunities, and resources. Greater Indiana assists members and stakeholders with grants, research, events, project coordination, marketing, fleet planning, and outreach activities to increase the use of alternative fuels and vehicles. As the Director of Greater Indiana, Kaylee works with governments, universities, equipment manufacturers, fuel providers, and other key stakeholders to expand alternative fuel transportation and infrastructure. 

Prior to joining the Greater Indiana team, Kaylee served as the Marketing and Operations Director at Terra Science and Education, an educational nonprofit in Central New York. In her role with Terra, Kaylee organized and marketed regional and international events, managed scholarship and grant programs, and operated as the office administrator. Kaylee also served on the board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Central New York Chapter, organizing professional development programs for communications professionals.

Kaylee graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Leadership from Purdue University.

 

Morgan Humburg | Events & Communications Coordinator

Morgan joins the Greater Indiana team as the Events and Communications Coordinator. Within this role, Morgan will coordinate the planning and execution of events, projects, and outreach efforts for various educational events. She also supports digital marketing and content creation needs for projects and events.

Before returning to her home state of Indiana, Morgan worked as a videographer and digital media coordinator for TyRex Group in Austin, TX. While her primary role was developing educational and industry marketing media content for TyRex, she also assisted the company’s nonprofit, RecognizeGood, in recognizing and thanking citizens and organizations who illuminate GOOD in the Austin community. Morgan also volunteers her skills in media production to Growing to Give, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and developing agricultural technologies to combat global food insecurity.

Morgan will be receiving her Master’s in Agricultural Communications in May of 2023 from Texas Tech University, and she currently holds a B.A. in Theatre and Digital Media Production from Butler University.

 

AJ Crawford | Project Coordinator

AJ serves as Greater Indiana’s Project Coordinator. In this role, AJ conducts research on transportation energy policies, technologies, industry solution providers, and related information in order to develop educational materials and assist stakeholders with proposals and alternative fuel transportation projects. As the project coordinator, AJ conducts fleet analysis and transition projects. His work includes researching the fuel, infrastructure, and vehicle options and calculating the emissions and investment needed to implement alternative fuel transportation recommendations. AJ also assists with coordinating vehicle demonstrations and ride-and-drive events.

Prior to joining the Greater Indiana team, AJ worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Bloomer in Seattle, WA. In his role with Bloomer, AJ educated consumers and businesses on several products that helped protect bees and stop cigarette pollution.

AJ is a graduate of Purdue University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Selling and Sales Management with a minor in Psychology. AJ is certified in Sustainable Fleet Management through the NAFA Fleet Management Association. He also is a Certified Biobased Fleet Professional through the American Lung Association’s Biobased Academy Program.

 

Alex Hakes | McKinney Climate Fellow – Summer Intern

Alex Hakes is joining the Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Inc. as a McKinney Climate Fellow for the summer of 2023. The McKinney Climate Fellows program is a workforce-development program focused on providing real-world, hands-on experience for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in the sustainability field. Fellows tackle climate, sustainability, and community resilience projects and challenges across the state of Indiana.

Alex is currently a graduate student studying Sustainability and Public Financial Management and will receive his Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in May 2024. While the university is in session, he works as a Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Assistant in the Undergraduate Programs Office. Alex’s post-graduation goals include working in the sustainability field, focusing on optimizing manufacturing and supply chain technologies.

Alex will help grow Greater Indiana’s outreach and advance the work on specific projects, such as alternative fuel and technology outreach and demonstration events, educational tours of fleet operations and infrastructure, and data and research compilation for alternative fuel projects.

Web, social media, and SEO developer. Storyteller, videographer, drone pilot, speaker, blogger, volunteer, and photographer. PH Digital aids Greater Indiana with its rebranding and marketing efforts through social media and other digital platforms.

 

 

Quandt Consulting | Grant Writing

Quandt Consulting helps local government and not-for-profit organizations get the funding needed to move their projects forward. Quandt Consulting aids Greater Indiana in writing grant proposals for its members pursuing funding for alternative fuel transportation projects.
