Thousands Of EV Chargers Coming To Multi-Family Residences
ChargePoint and OBE Power recently partnered to deploy EV charging infrastructure at multifamily residential properties across North America. Under the agreement, OBE Power plans to deploy about 2,500 charging ports beginning in 2026 using ChargePoint charging hardware, software, and services. ChargePoint will serve as OBE Power’s exclusive EV charging technology provider for the multifamily deployments.The companies said the partnership is aimed at expanding EV charging access in multifamily housing, where charging availability has historically lagged behind single-family homes.
