Greater Indiana to Host EV Ride and Drive During 2025 Open Streets Fort Wayne Celebration
Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Inc., in partnership with the City of Fort Wayne and Citilink, is excited to announce that they will be hosting an EV Ride and Drive on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT. The Ride and Drive event will occur in Citilink’s Central Station at 121 W Baker St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802. It is one of many activities available during the City of Fort Wayne’s Open Streets event.
During this highly anticipated event, attendees will have the unique chance to experience various cutting-edge electric vehicles (EVs), ranging from fully electric to hybrid. In partnership with local dealerships, the EV Ride and Drive will showcase some of the latest EV models, allowing participants to experience the performance, sustainability, and advanced technology firsthand. A valid driver’s license is required for attendees wanting to participate in the ride-and-drive event.
In addition to the ride-and-drive portion, knowledgeable EV owners will be present to answer questions and share insights about ownership, cost savings, and the convenience of charging. Attendees can also expect valuable information from various organizations regarding EV charging infrastructure, the environmental benefits of EVs, and the financial advantages of embracing electric mobility.
