Indiana corn and soybean producers are rallying to pass a crucial biofuels tax credit bill in the coming year. Partnering with Andretti IndyCar, the Indiana Soybean Alliance, and the Indiana Corn Growers Association, they aim to drive forward key biofuel initiatives.
The proposed tax credit seeks to incentivize the sale of biofuel-blended fuel, potentially injecting $200 million into Indiana’s economy annually, which would “lower the cost of fuel at the pump,” said Steve Howell of the Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Growers Association. Read more!
