Family-Operated Good Oil Company

Founded in 1941 by Don O. Good Sr., Good Oil Company (Good to Go) has been a family-operated business since its inception. After Don Sr.’s retirement, his sons, Don and Dean, took the reins, steering the company’s evolution. Recognizing shifts in the gasoline service station landscape, Don and Dean embraced change. They entered the convenience store business, adapting to evolving consumer needs. That includes offering propane to their customers. Propane is a nontoxic, colorless, and nearly odorless gas widely used for heating, cooking, and fuel for engines, including forklifts, farm engines, fleet vehicles, and buses. With increased natural gas supplies, U.S. propane sources have grown abundantly.
