The Greater Indiana team has enjoyed the beautiful fall Indiana weather at various electric vehicle (EV) ride-and-drive events. There was plenty of sunshine and multiple EVs at EVs for EVV in Evansville, IN. Evansville’s EVs for EVV event has grown significantly from its debut in 2022. The event, organized by Caroline Nellis with Tri-State Creation Care, has expanded to 10 acres at the Eykamp Scout Center and included a variety of EVs from local dealerships, celebrity drivers, family activities, live music, and more. Attendees voted on their favorite EV for a people’s choice award, and a judge selected the best EV of the day. We loved connecting with the Evansville community and look forward to an even larger event next year!
Last weekend, the City of Carmel, in partnership with Greater Indiana Clean Cities, the Hoosier Electric Vehicle Association, Carmel Green Initiative, AAA‘s My Pit Crew, and Knozone, hosted its 4th Annual EV Ride and Drive as part of National Drive Electric Week. Attendees could drive and explore various electric vehicles, including cars, e-bikes, and electric motorcycles. Our friends at McGavic Outdoor Power also brought a GEM, an LSEV (Low-Speed Electric Vehicle), to offer rides around the event in quiet style. Our team ended September celebrating sustainable transportation with some of our members and the Carmel community.
