Greater Indiana Clean Cities Welcomes Newest Gold Member: Constellation CNG

Constellation is a leading competitive retail supplier of power, natural gas, and energy products and services for homes and businesses across the continental United States.  Constellation’s family of retail businesses serves more than 2.5 million residential, public sector, and business customers, including more than two-thirds of the Fortune 100.  Baltimore-based Constellation is a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation (NYSE: EXC), the nation’s leading competitive energy provider, with 2013 revenues of approximately $24.9 billion, and more than 35,000 megawatts of owned capacity comprising one of the nation’s cleanest and lowest-cost power generation fleets.

As part of Constellation’s Distributed Energy Business unit, Constellation CNG plans to own and operate a strategically connected network of commercial CNG stations across the United States, making CNG more readily available to commercial and public fleets. Through an integrated natural gas price management program, fleets can obtain fuel price assurance and avoid the typical volatility of diesel or gasoline prices.

Constellation currently owns and operates public-access CNG stations in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Greensburg and Seymour, with an additional CNG station under development in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
