The two-day event will kick-off on the 21st with the AFV and Sustainability tours showcasing two partner facilities that offer solutions for fleet owners and operators of both government and private sector fleets. The two options that registrants can choose from are ECO Vehicle Systems in Union City, Indiana and Kinetrex Energy in Indianapolis.

These sustainability tours provide a great opportunity for public and private sector fleet operators and sustainability directors to understand how these Hoosier gems offer innovative opportunities for fleets to meet sustainability and efficiency goals utilizing domestic, clean and renewable energy. Fleet owners looking for fleet energy solutions that will meet their capital needs and sustainability goals are highly encouraged to take part in these tours.

Luckily, the fun doesn’t stop here, as the very next day, The Second Annual AFV Expo and Sustainability Summit, an all-day innovation festival featuring some of the brightest minds in alternative fuel technology, will take place at Greater Indiana Clean Cities’ Indy offices.

Some of the sessions featured during the expo include an alternative fuel vehicles national sales Update by Steve Tam, Vice President of ACT Research. Steve will set the day’s stage by provide a look at the history of AFV deployment from 2008 to present. He will discuss how EPA certifications and lower fuel prices have impacted trends, but how AFVs are still a viable choice for municipal to fortune 500 companies and could be for your fleet too.
Other sessions include an update on Evansville Urban Learning and Research Center, LNG, CNG and rCNG as a transportation fuel that can fuel your bottom line and your GHG emissions, as well as information on the status of the VW Mitigation Trust Fund and other funding sources for municipal and school bus fleets.

Before and after the sessions, attendees can network with expo vendors where they can participate in exciting and educational activities and development opportunities, including opportunities to take a ride in an alternative fuel vehicle of their choice.
