NAFA Fleet Management Association, Greater Indiana Clean Cities, NTEA, The Association for the Work Truck Industry & The 100 Best Fleets in The Americas™
A round-table interactive discussion at the Work Truck Show with The 100 Best Fleets managers
Friday, March 17, 2017
Indiana Convention Center, Exhibit Hall
100 South Capital Avenue
Indianapolis, IN 46225
This is a chance to tie everything together; educational sessions and exhibits. We start at 10:00 AM, March 17th on the exhibit floor analyzing each emerging technology for its applicability to your own operation. This is a rare opportunity to compare notes with the best fleet managers in the country, to find out what-is-working from the hundreds of exhibitors present.
We then convene in room 101-102 for a buffet lunch and continue the discussion of best business practices and how to implement them. The forum will be facilitated by The 100 Best Fleets managers present at the conference.
Some topics to be discussed include funding:
- Grants and an update on the $4.7 billion dollar Volkswagen payout (How can you secure your share? Payments are being distributed now.)
- A demonstration of a live online worldwide auction of equipment. One fleet realized a 400% ROI using this approach.
- In-sourcing, outsourcing, alternative fuels and any other topics or challenges you wish to discuss.
Every attendee will receive for FREE a 200-page audit that prevented privatization of the Atlanta fleet and saved the Miami-Coral Gables fleet $300,000 in 3 months. Consultants place a value of $50,000 on this document…if they only had one.
Paul Patterson, Fleet Manager of Oneonta, New York said: “It was worth the three hour drive. We got one idea we implemented that saved us $20,000 immediately.”
John Vickery, Fleet Manager of Anderson County, TN said: “I drove 365 miles one way for the program…it was worth it!”
Steve Newman, Program Manager for Georgia Gas Distributors, Inc. said: “I just got back to the office, I think 100 Best Fleets was one of the best meetings I have been a part of. It was great to hear some of the success stories other fleet managers have implemented around the country. Thanks again for a great meeting today and for time and money very well spent!”
Joe Rajchel, General Services Maintenance Manager; City of Henderson, NV said: “We are in fleet field but we are also in a world of constant change. An event like today’s helps all us hear new ideas and gives us the motivation to not only change, but to improve. Thank you for giving us all that opportunity.”
