For the past 36 years, Ricker Oil Company has been providing high quality fuels, clean convenience stores, and marketing/supply services to companies and consumers throughout the state of Indiana. Since its founding in 1979, Ricker Oil remains locally owned and operated, serving Indiana in the best way possible.
Originally founded in Middleton, Indiana by Jay and Nancy Ricker, Ricker Oil has since re-located to Anderson, Indiana, where they are headquartered today. They now own and operate 56 convenient stores, known for their cleanliness and friendly environment and staff.
Ricker Oil has proved a strong commitment to the community and to clean fuel sources. Jay, Nancy, and their staff are constantly working to improve Indiana’s quality of life. Jay serves as the chairman of the board for the Anderson Community Hospital, as well as chairman of the board for the Connor Prairie living history museum. Along with being a Greater Indiana board member, Jay serves on several national boards, one of which, the Fuels Institute, brings together groups to discuss and look at fuels of the future. Nancy is a member of the local Habitat of Humanity affiliate and has been for years. She also serves on the Ivy Tech regional board. Both have recently started a foundation to plant trees throughout Indiana, and have begun planting trees around the Indiana capital building.
In their commitment to discovering and deploying new fuel alternatives, Ricker Oil has recently partnered with Nissan to install several Level III DC fast chargers for the Nissan LEAF and other electric vehicles around this area. With so many locations throughout Indiana, Ricker Oil continues to strive to provide excellent service and quality products to Indiana residents.
