Greater Indiana Clean Cities Executive Director to speak at NTEA Green Truck Summit.

Kellie Walsh
Executive Director
Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition

In an effort to help City of Indianapolis Mayor Ballard achieve his declaration of a post oil fleet by 2025, the Greater Indiana Clean Cities secured Indianapolis a spot in the National Renewable Energy Lab data collection project. This project collects refuse fleet duty cycle data on fleets from across the U.S., in an effort to develop a tool that will aide refuse operators from municipals to privates in determining which alternative fuel and/or technology would work best in their specific fleet’s operation. Jeremiah Shirk, Chief of Staff for Indianapolis DPW and Kellie Walsh will present review the data collection process, data analysis and how Indianapolis will use the data to determine the low hanging fruit to top of the chart foreign oil reduction plan for Indianapolis’s refuse fleet.
