The 2014 Indiana State Fair will run from August 1-17 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. As a farmer-owned cooperative, CountryMark is proud to support the fair, and fairgoers will see the support of the CountryMark system throughout the 17 days of the fair.
The state fair shuttles will be powered by CountryMark’s Super Dieselex-4 with a B20 biodiesel blend. Fairgoers will no doubt be impressed with the power and performance of CountryMark’s premium-quality diesel fuel!
CountryMark PLUS gasoline will power the fair’s huge display of antique tractors, which will be on parade every evening during the fair. Tractor owners will enjoy superior engine performance with this All-American TOP TIER fuel.
Both the CountryMark diesel fuel and gasoline will be delivered by Co-Alliance.
Many shows and activities will take place during the fair at the Pioneer Village Stage in the Antique Barn and Opry House. CountryMark is proud to sponsor this stage, which provides outstanding entertainment for countless Hoosier visitors.
“At CountryMark, we have a passion for agriculture and the success of Indiana farmers,” said CountryMark Vice President of Marketing Jon Lantz. “In fact, CountryMark is one of only four farmer-owned oil refining companies in the United States. The farmers of our great state had an incredible vision of energy independence when they built the CountryMark refinery over 70 years ago in southern Indiana. We continue today to refine only 100% American crude oil gathered from the Illinois Basin. We also own our own pipeline distribution system, further protecting fuel quality and integrity for our end-user customers. In addition, CountryMark is recognized as a national leader in alternative fuels, proudly supplying a line of biodiesel and ethanol blended fuels.”
Co-Alliance Vice President of Energy Todd Masten also encourages the public to come to the Indiana State Fair and celebrate Indiana agriculture with Co-Alliance and CountryMark.
“It’s a great honor for us to be the fuel provider of the Indiana State Fair,” said Masten. “The shuttles and antique tractors provide us with a great opportunity to contribute to the entertainment value of the Indiana state fair, while also demonstrating the power and performance of our locally refined fuels.”
